Communication error
The charger is offline in its app, or the charger and vehicle fail to negotiate a session.
Common causes
- Wi-Fi signal weak or credentials changed
- Local network or cloud outage
- Control pilot communication problem between charger and vehicle
- Firmware update interrupted
Safe checks
- 1Check the charger is within Wi-Fi range and the network is up.
- 2Restart your router before restarting the charger.
- 3Re-seat the charging cable at both ends.
- 4Only restart the charger with the manufacturer-documented procedure.
When to call a technician
Call a qualified technician if the device repeats the fault after a manufacturer-approved restart, shows a burning smell, has damaged or discoloured wiring, or if the symptom involves the battery, inverter power stage or any sealed high-voltage component.
