Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it.

Browsing the site

You can read every public page without an account. We do not require registration to search fault codes.

Form submissions

When you send a contact message, report an error or request a fault, we store the fields you entered — such as the device, code, message and, if you provide it, your email address — in our database so an editor can review it. Submissions are kept for editorial and quality purposes.

We do not publish your email address, and we do not sell submissions to third parties.

Analytics

We use aggregate analytics to see which faults people search for and which searches return nothing. That data guides which codes get documented next. Search events are recorded as query text and result counts, not as personal profiles.

Advertising

If advertising is enabled on a page, the ad provider may set its own cookies. Advertising slots are never placed between a code and its meaning, over buttons, inside navigation or inside safety warnings.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete a submission you sent by contacting us and including the device and code you wrote about.
