No grid error
The inverter reports that it cannot see a valid grid connection and refuses to operate.
Common causes
- Local grid outage or planned maintenance
- Open or tripped AC breaker or residual-current device
- AC connection problem between the inverter and the distribution board
- Grid voltage outside the configured operating range
Safe checks
- 1Check whether other appliances in the property have power.
- 2Check the main switch and the dedicated inverter breaker at the distribution board.
- 3Wait for the inverter reconnect delay before concluding it has failed.
- 4If the grid is present and the breaker is on but the code repeats, contact your installer.

When to call a technician
Call a qualified technician if the device repeats the fault after a manufacturer-approved restart, shows a burning smell, has damaged or discoloured wiring, or if the symptom involves the battery, inverter power stage or any sealed high-voltage component.
