No grid error

The inverter reports that it cannot see a valid grid connection and refuses to operate.

Common causes

  • Local grid outage or planned maintenance
  • Open or tripped AC breaker or residual-current device
  • AC connection problem between the inverter and the distribution board
  • Grid voltage outside the configured operating range

Safe checks

  1. 1Check whether other appliances in the property have power.
  2. 2Check the main switch and the dedicated inverter breaker at the distribution board.
  3. 3Wait for the inverter reconnect delay before concluding it has failed.
  4. 4If the grid is present and the breaker is on but the code repeats, contact your installer.

When to call a technician

Call a qualified technician if the device repeats the fault after a manufacturer-approved restart, shows a burning smell, has damaged or discoloured wiring, or if the symptom involves the battery, inverter power stage or any sealed high-voltage component.
