The inverter has throttled or shut down because its internal temperature exceeded safe limits.
Common causes
- Insufficient clearance around the unit or blocked heat sink
- Direct sun and high ambient temperature
- Dust build-up on cooling surfaces
- Fan failure

- 1Check that the clearances in the installation manual are respected.
- 2Remove anything stored against or above the unit.
- 3Confirm the unit is not in direct afternoon sun where it can be shaded safely.
- 4Do not open the enclosure to clean inside it.
