Not producing power
The inverter is powered but the system is exporting nothing, or the display shows zero output during daylight.
Common causes
- Grid voltage or frequency outside the inverter window
- AC circuit breaker open or tripped
- DC switch on the inverter left in the off position
- PV array voltage below the inverter start-up threshold
- Active fault or alarm blocking the inverter from feeding in
Safe checks
- 1Read the display or monitoring app and note any code before doing anything else.
- 2Confirm the AC circuit breaker at the distribution board is on.
- 3Confirm the DC isolator at the inverter is in the on position without opening the enclosure.
- 4Compare the current output with the day and season — reduced winter output is normal.
- 5If a code is present, look it up before restarting the device.

When to call a technician
Call a qualified technician if the device repeats the fault after a manufacturer-approved restart, shows a burning smell, has damaged or discoloured wiring, or if the symptom involves the battery, inverter power stage or any sealed high-voltage component.
