Common causes
- Dedicated circuit breaker open or tripped
- Charger not activated or not commissioned
- Connector or cable damage
- Vehicle inlet fault
- Internal charger fault
Safe checks
- 1Confirm the charger has power by checking its indicator.
- 2Check the dedicated breaker at the distribution board.
- 3Try the charger with a different vehicle if one is available — this separates vehicle faults from charger faults.
- 4Do not attempt any internal inspection of the charger.

When to call a technician
Call a qualified technician if the device repeats the fault after a manufacturer-approved restart, shows a burning smell, has damaged or discoloured wiring, or if the symptom involves the battery, inverter power stage or any sealed high-voltage component.
